At 3:05 p.m., the wait is over. It's opening day for the Tampa Bay Rays. A fresh start for the players and unfettered expectations for the fans. The Rays appear poised to reach .500 for the first time. Then again, starting the season with Scott Kazmir and Rocco Baldelli on the D.L. could dampen that optimism.
