I'm leaving on Wednesday for a trip down to Florida First time in the sunshine state since I was a wee little lad. Just barely missed Gustav and it looks like the same with Hannah. Spending Thursday, Friday, and Saturday along the gulf with vists to Mississippi and Alabama. Look out Biloxi I'm feeling lucky

Decided to check in tonight. Sitting on my balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico...a beautiful couple of days on the beach. My skin is burnt, but my spirit feels fine

Hope you're OK on the gasoline for getting home.

Looks like half(?) the stations around me in Charlotte have stopped selling or are out of gas, my uncle in Atlanta says he can't find anybody selling gas around him.

Drove from the beach, through rural SC today -- there was no noticable shortage but prices were only slightly down from the "storm surge" over the weekend...
