Yeah but Urban did not publicize it. Only the Gator faithful really knew as it leaked out.
Billy is making it public knowledge.
Billy IMO is trying to humiliate now. They have the NIT coming up and he bans them??? Urban never did something so crazy before a game.
Billy has thrown these kids under the bus which IMO was tough love. But going 21-11 earned these kids at the very least the right to wear Gator gear. And to ban them from practice the week of a tournament is nuts. What does that achieve?
And it looks horrible for recruiting.
