It's hard to prove that "nothing" exists. Just as hard to prove that "nothing" does not exist. The story is 1000's of years old, if not older. You would think we would have at least one positive piece of proof after all these years, or at least one photo that is not "grainy". When was the last time a new creature was discovered here in the USA? |

That's what makes it so interesting. It's a worldwide thing. Stories, legends, sightings from all over the world. How could such isolated cultures all have so similar creatures? We're just now entering the golden age of photography. Used to be it was rare to have a camera on hand, but now every cell phone, mp3 player, etc has a camera on it. So, theoretically the chances of a good pic should rise.
Really new species are discovered all the time. Mostly just different kinds of already known breeds, but every now and then you get a coelacanth.
