Your Dumbest Moment

I'm pretty much a klutz, so I have many, many stories, but this one is probably the dumbest.

I was out early one morning and as I drove up the driveway I stopped to pick up the paper. I undid my seatbelt and leaned out of the car to get it. I guess it was a little further away that I thought and I ended up falling out of the car. I still had the car in drive unfortunately. I somehow avoided getting run over, but had to jump up and back into the car before it hit the fence. I now make sure I put the car in park before I pick up the paper.

Now that's funny! I can picture it all too well as a similar thing happened to me and my wife.

We were out for a night on the town and had a few too many. We got stopped on the way home and my wife said she was getting sick. So she opened the door and started leaning out. I didn't want her to strangle herself with the seat belt so I undid it.

Naturally she went tumbling out of the car which given the situation didn't look too good but in spite of the bad timing all ended well and we get a good laugh out of it every time it comes up.

When you consider the situation it was one of the dumbest things you could possibly do. Only in real life people, you can't make this kinda' stuff up...
