Tomorrow is D Day for some players...

Man, I sure would hate to be on the coaching staff tomorrow and have to make some of the tough cuts they're going to have to make. The Bucs really have some talented depth, and it's going to be very hard to slide a few of them onto the practice squad.

I'm glad to see that we were able to get something for Marques Douglas. He sure didn't impress me, and was a terrible fit for the D. How about Wilkerson though? He has been VERY impressive, and is a great fit. Me thinks the Bucs will have a very good D again this year.

I won't be too disappointed if the Bucs part ways with Anthony Davis. He's looked really crappy in preseason, and he's Penns backup. YIKES! Fred Miller was offered a contract, but he hasn't signed as of today. If he doesn't sign, I suppose we'll re-sign Pettigout when he's off suspension and if he's healthy.

I'll say one thing, Antonio Bryant is looking great and so is Michael Bennett. The FO has done extremely well with it's FA pickups starting with Bennett last year and Bryant and Wilkerson this year...and of course the cherry on top that is Faine. Would that make Dunn the whipped cream?

I wonder if the Bucs will keep 4 QB's or try to slide Johnson to the practice squad? I read on PR that they have his contract such that it will make him a bit more difficult to sign. Simms will be gone by tomorrow I'm pretty sure. We might be able to get a late round pick out of him if somebody wants to make sure he doesn't hit the FA market. I can't imagine why anybody would want to, but who knows.

I also have to wonder if Ryan Nece will be cut. I love that guy, and trust me...it pains me to say this about an FSU player who dissed Tim Tebow last season...I think Geno Hayes will take his roster spot. He's young and inexperienced, but he's a great athlete. Hopefully Derrick will teach him something about humility.
