Some of the folks on here are already getting it, but I'm just sitting here waiting for it. Personally, I love the rain, but not so crazy about these bad storms that produce tornadoes. Thank goodness we don't usually get them, but you have to feel for those that do. I think I'll get out the ironing board and catch up on some ironing. There's just something soothing about ironing when it's raining!

I checked out a couple of startup wannabees but settled on a steady working classic rock band called The Wooden Nickel Band. The band works every Friday and Saturday night around town but the interesting stuff happens on Wednesdays at Molly Malones (in New Port Richey) where we host a jam night every Wednesday night. Jam night or open mic night is where musicians (or not) get to come in and take the stage. Most are musicians but occasionally you get a karaoke cast off and usually their drunk friends. :laugh: We had a good dose of that last night but we also had 3 partial bands and 2 very good guitar players come in. This gave me a chance to not only play with some great players but also play a bunch of material I don't normally get to play. Last night was a good night but it isn't always that way. We're remodeling. :eek: I had to leave for a week so I didn't have to deal with all the drywall dust while they did electrical work and replace the ceiling that fell in due to my line to the icemaker leaking. We also knocked out a wall between the dining room and living room, and let me tell you, doing that is a mess! :haha: I came back to downlights in my kitchen and new ceilings, plus NO MORE POPCORN! :woohoo:

It's rapidly becoming a little more than that. Over the past few days we've added several new features to the board including this blog thingie. (Can anyone explain to me exactly what a blog is anyway?) I never was sure but we've got one just the same...

We also added a Image Gallery and upgraded it's thumbnail views with nicely rounded corners :D and installed a random picture module on the front page. (Kinda' cool :thumb:)
