Well one reason is that I think the Bucs will give him a three year contract. We have no other QB. Brian G. hasn't made a complete year in his career. Mr MacCown is ok but not the guy to put money on for a whole season yet. The new guy is just that..The new guy. We need Jeff for at least two more years starting. So I think the Bucs will offer a three year deal. |

Plenty of FA's will be around by then. Rumors have it McNabb will not be renewed and may not see his large final years. Gruden has been in love with him for years. McCown could very well be our future as well.
