While settling the bets The Bookie mentioned something about "lamers being faint of heart" or something like that. I couldn't make it all out because he was laughing while he said it. He also mumbled something about bottom of the ninth, home run and something else as he walked away. I didn't catch it all but it sounded something like leading a horse to water but can't make'em drink??
I dunno, maybe it'll make more sense with next week's odds. All I know is somebody else is going to be on the clock next week. He didn't appear to be real happy with this week's outcome.
