I don't know if any of you have heard, but there are two men from Georgia who claim to have found Bigfoot. There are several reported stories about it too.
At first I thought it was just a fake webpage making its rounds on the internet. But these guys, along with a known Bigfoot hunter, have gotten a lot of face time including a press converence yesterday.
Real or not. At first it seemed like it could have merit. Just because of all the stories and the conference. But after looking in to the story more I think it's a hoax.
But what I'm wondering is what would these guys have to gain out of going so far with a hoax? The Bigfoot guy has his reputation at stake. All the guys have their reputation at stake.
What's the benefit of faking this? Are they simply trying to get more traffic through their website? That seems like a lot of stuff to do to simply get some website traffic.
And why would 15 minutes of fame be worth it if you'll forever be known as a fool?
